Choosing New from the File menu creates a new Logger Pro file. The new file contains the default settings of the objects present when Logger Pro starts. If you are using an auto-ID sensor, Logger Pro will call up the sensor's default settings. When you start Logger Pro or choose New without a sensor connected, a generic default file containing a Table and a Graph will be opened.
When you choose New, you will be given the option of saving the file you are currently working on. Files can be opened from the File menu or the toolbar.
