Customizing Your Startup Page

You can create a file that will be called up whenever Logger Pro is launched or you choose New from the File menu. Follow these steps to customize your startup file.

  1. Create the desired startup file from any existing or new file in Logger Pro. You can customize the file any way you wish, including the graph title, sensors, column labels, colors, and displayed precision. Note: When sensors are detected, additional objects will be added automatically to the startup configuration. The startup file only sets the starting point for Logger Pro to build the current setup depending on the detected sensors.
  2. Save the file to a known location on your computer. A good choice is the folder containing Logger Pro. Give the file a name like "mystartup.cmbl."
  3. Choose Preferences from the File menu (Windows/Mac Pre OS X) or Logger Pro menu (Mac OS X). In the Preferences dialog, check Startup File, click the Browse button, and select your file. Click OK.
  4. Test by exiting then relaunching Logger Pro.
