Movie

You can synchronize data collection and a movie so when you replay the movie, the data are replayed on the graph. Movies can be captured directly from a video input such as a digital video camera or web camera (works with a variety of movie formats, including .mp4 and .mpeg).

Movies of your experiments can be added to your page by choosing Movie from the Insert menu. Choose Movie Options from the Options menu to change the properties of the movie.

Sample files with movies are available. Choose Open from the File menu, then look in the Experiments folder to access them. A tutorial covering movies is also available. Choose Open from the File menu, then look in Experiments > Tutorials to access it.

Video Analysis Dialog

The Video Analysis dialog can be used to play movies, sync movies to your data, and perform video analysis of the motion. After you insert a movie from the Insert menu, the Video Analysis dialog will be available.

Movie Buttons

The button furthest on the left is the Play button. Click it to play the movie. The next button is the Stop button. It will stop the movie during replay. The third button from the left "rewinds" the video to the beginning. The next two buttons move the video to the previous or next frame.

Use the right-most button to graphically analyze motion recorded in movies or video files.
