Getting Started Using Go! Temp and Logger Pro

The Vernier Go! Temp is a Temperature Probe that connects directly to the USB port of your computer. No interface is needed.

Follow these procedures to quickly collect data with the Go! Temp and Logger Pro software:

  1. Connect the Go! Temp to a USB port on your computer running Logger Pro.
  2. A Found New Hardware message may appear. Allow a few moments for this process to complete before proceeding.
  3. You will see that Logger Pro has identified the probe and is now ready to collect data.
  4. Click . The data will be displayed in the data table and the graph.
  5. Once you have collected data, you can analyze it and perform many other tasks. Take a look at the How To section for a list of the various options available in Logger Pro.

Note: A tutorial covering Go! Temp is available. Choose Open from the File menu, then look in the Tutorials folder to access it.

Changing Go! Temp Options

Using the Go! Temp dialog you can calibrate the Go! Temp, change data-collection units, and more.

View the Go! Temp dialog by clicking the Go! Temp button in the toolbar. A dialog showing the sensor setup, the units, and current readings (if Live Readouts in the Column Options dialog is checked) will be displayed.
