Text Annotation

A Text Annotation box allows you to make notes about a run of data. This is especially useful in calling attention to points of interest. If the point of interest is under another object then the arrowhead disappears until that point is visible again.

You can add a new Text Annotation box to your page by choosing Text Annotation from the Insert menu.

You can grab and move both the Text Annotation box and the pointer.

Set the number of pointers and overall appearance of the text annotation object in the Text Annotation Options dialog. To access the dialog, double-click the Text Annotation box. You can also make the text bold, italic, or underlined using the commands in the Edit menu. Greek characters, subscript and superscript numbers, and the degree symbol may be added from the Edit menu.
