Text Annotation Options

Set the number of pointers and overall appearance of the text annotation object in the Text Annotation Options dialog. Access the Text Annotation Options dialog by double-clicking the Text Annotation box or by choosing Text Annotation Options from the Options menu.

You can quickly make the text bold, italic, or underlined using the commands in the Edit menu. Greek characters, subscript and superscript numbers, and the degree symbol may also be added from the Edit menu.

Text Annotation Dialog

The Text Annotation dialog can be used to change the appearance of the Text Annotation box.

Font

Change the Font style of the text in the Text Annotation box.

Background Color

Change the Background Color of the Text Annotation box.

Alignment

Change the Alignment of the text in the box. The text can be Right, Center, or Left aligned.

Border Color

Change the color of the border of the box.

Border Thickness

Change the thickness of the border around the box.

Show Border

Uncheck Show Border to remove the border around the Text Annotation box.

Pointers

You can choose up to nine different Pointers to add to the Text Annotation box. Note: You can choose to have zero pointers.

The Pointer Type can be a line or you can add an Arrowhead to the end of the line.
