Scaling a Graph

Data may extend beyond the graph's bounds or not fill the graph. Thus it will be necessary to adjust the x- and/or y-axis scale of the graph.

You can doing this Manually or by Autoscaling the graph. For more about these options, see below. Note: A tutorial covering graph scaling is available. Choose Open from the File menu, then look in the Tutorials folder to access it.

Autoscaling

This feature automatically adjusts the graph axes so all data will fit with little empty space. There are two ways to Autoscale a graph:

An easy way to change an endpoint value for either axis is to do any of the following:

In the Axes Options Tab, you can enter values for the endpoints of both the x- and y-axes all at the same time.
