Logger Pro may prompt you to update the operating system for your device (e.g., LabQuest or LabPro). This is necessary for your device to work with Logger Pro 3. If you select Cancel, Logger Pro will not be able to communicate with your device.
The update procedure takes a few minutes. Please be aware that all data in the device will be lost. Note: If you can connect your device with a USB connection, the update will take less time than with other types of connections.
If you are not prompted to update your device but the Update button on the Set Up Sensors dialog is highlighted, it means there is a newer, but not required, operating system available. You can continue to use your device without a problem if you choose to skip this minor update.
