Logger Pro can collect mass data from certain models of OHAUS balances. An up-to-date list of supported models can be found on the Vernier web site.
If you are connecting a balance to your computer via USB, read the following instructions for your operating system. Important: Do not connect your OHAUS balance to your computer before Logger Pro is installed. If a balance is connected to the computer before Logger Pro is installed, it may have trouble finding the correct drivers. Note: If you are connecting an OHAUS balance to your computer using a serial cable (Windows only), no special drivers are needed.
Macintosh OS X
Separate drivers are not required, but you must be running macOS 10.10 or newer.
Windows
OHAUS balances are supported on Windows 7 or newer. The required drivers will be automatically installed in Logger Pro when the balance is connected to the computer.
OHAUS balances purchased directly from Vernier Software & Technology ship with the proper settings to work with Logger Pro. If the balance was purchased anywhere else, or if the menu settings have been changed, reset the device to factory defaults. For additional information, see OHAUS balance troubleshooting.
