Group Y-Axes of Multiple Objects

When a collection of objects are grouped, changes in the display range of one grouped object is reflected to all objects within that group. This feature is particularly useful when the data from a Temperature Probe is shown both in a graph and a thermometer since it allows the scaling of these two objects to be synchronized.

There are three kinds of objects that can be part of a y-axis group: graphs, gauges, and thermometers. Any and all of these types of objects can be grouped together.

Creating a Y-Axis Group

To create a y-axis group you must first select the objects that are to be in the group. Then choose Group Objects with Common Y-Axes from the Page menu.

Notes: Y-axis grouping of graphs only works if the graphs are displaying a common column. Group Objects with Common Y-Axes will only be available if multiple groupable objects are selected.

Choosing Ungroup from the Page menu simply releases the selected objects from their respective groups. If nothing is selected then all grouped objects are ungrouped.
