Team,
Today we begin the final month of review and practice for the AP exam. You all have taken the diagnostic exam, we will pass out your grade sheets today to begin the PM (post mortem-ask).
Some of you have already begun this process, you all get fives in my book.
Our goal: to determine what we need to cover to prepare you for the exam May 2. May 2. This is 12 class periods away:
3.30 W
4.1 F
4.5 T
4.7 Th
4.11 M
4.13 W
4.15 F
4.19 T
4.21 Th
4.25 M
4.27 W
4.29 F
We plan on a review weekend session 4.30/5.1 for final review, but we will do our best to prepare long before this.
We've asked you to review chapter 8 in the red review book on pollution. This is key as it integrates solid, water and air pollution, while adding several others you may not have considered, like noise pollution. Questions on this chapter are due today before class.
This week our goals are as follows:
Wednesday: Review exam, go over common errors. For Friday: corrections worked out/explanations due by email to BW and DKE.
Chapter 8 overview as time permits. Reading assignment: Chapter 9 red book.
Friday: Chapter 8 overview, begin chapter 9 in red review book.
Weekend: watch "before the warming: here:

This is about global warming in a new view: backwards. We'd like you to imagine other scenaria. More on this Friday.

Two things will help you this month:
1. Stay up with the reading
2. Ask questions in class, or see us outside of class
This last month will more closely resemble a college class than any other month we've worked together. Your success will rest in your hands more than ever between now and May 2. We do have fun plans for the month, so don't get depressed. See us if you feel underwater.

More soon, keep checking.
