Some sensors require time to "warm up" before data collection can begin. When the data collection program is started up, the interface applies power immediately. So all you need to do is wait for the appropriate amount of time to pass, before starting data collection. For example, if you are using a pH Sensor, it will be ready to use 30 seconds after Logger Pro is running and set up for the pH Sensor. Note: If you are using two sensors that require warming up, Logger Pro will use the longer time interval of the two sensors before starting data collection.
The table below lists all sensors with warm-up periods longer than two seconds. If a sensor is not on this list, its warm up time is negligible.
Sensor Name | Warm-Up Time (s) |
CO2 Sensor | 90 |
Colorimeter | 300 |
Dissolved Oxygen Probe | 600 |
Electrode Amplifier | 30 |
pH Sensor | 30 |
