Full Spectrum Data-Collection Mode

Full Spectrum data-collection mode can only be used with Spectrometers and is the default mode when a Spectrometer is connected. In Full Spectrum mode, Intensity, Absorbance, Fluorescence (certain models only), or %Transmittance can be measured as a function of wavelength.

When Full Spectrum mode is selected in the data-collection dialog, you have the option to Store Latest Run Every n Samples. A non-zero entry will cause Logger Pro to store a run as a complete data set, and then continue to collect additional spectra. In this way a temporal history of the spectrum can be studied. However, note that there is no time-stamp associated with each spectrum. It is easy to create a large amount of data this way, since each data set may contain thousands of wavelengths. To view a particular spectrum, choose Show Data Set or Hide Data Set from the Data menu.
